You have been on the road tour! I've enjoyed taking in the adventure.

Chicago places top 5 on my favorite US city list - simply love the culture + people. Favorite memory so far: staying at the Ambassador East and strolling down memory lane at the Pump Room: http://www.pumproom.com/history.html

@Shennee - Thank you! ;-)
@Joan - That's an excellent Chicago memory! Isn't interesting where, how and when people draw inspiration? Pretty cool about your daughter!

Great pictures, Michael! Chicago is a wonderful town; those red shoes just add even more class!

Because Chicago is an easy trip from Detroit, I have been many, many times and have lots of good memories. My daughter started on her career path (writer, journalist, editor) after a visit to the Field Museum. She wrote her first major story about that visit - she was 10 years old.

One time I left my planner in the back of a cab. The driver found it hours later, looked on the calendar where I was (at the restaurant show at McCormick), and then called and had me paged so I could retrieve my planner. Great people in that city!

I feel a trip coming on . . .
